In 2015, WFCP adopted a new set of by-laws to govern the organization, as the World Federation became more formalized.

The by-laws were adopted by members at the 2015 Annual General Meeting held in Winnipeg, Canada on May 27, 2015. Updates to the by-laws were made in 2017 and 2021.
