WFCP is commissioning a high-impact research project to shape our 2026 Global Statement on “Building Skills for Sustainability, Innovation, and Global Employability” in TVET/PTET to be launched at the WFCP World Congress in Nairobi (23–28 Nov 2026).
We’re looking for researchers or research-allied institutes with strong applied expertise in skills systems, TVET/PTET, employer engagement, workforce development, and international comparators. More information on the Call for Proposals can be found here.
What you’ll produce (desk-based / no travel):
✅ A sharp, evidence-informed synthesis of what actually works at the intersection of:
🌱 Sustainability (green skills; climate/circular economy)
💡 Innovation (pedagogy, technology, partnership models)
🌍 Global employability (skills portability, recognition, mobility)
✅ Practical recommendations that decision-makers can act on (institutions, governments, industry)
✅ Concrete ideas for how we track progress (signals/metrics)
WFCP will amplify the work through member case studies and short foresight inputs from global TVET/PTET thinkers so your research lands with real-world legitimacy and reach.
Deadline: 1 February 2026 (11:59pm Ottawa time / ET)
Submit to: secretariat@wfcp.org
Scope: ~20–25 days (rate/arrangement to be agreed; consortium/co-funded proposals welcome)
Please share this with colleagues or institutes who’d be a strong fit, and if this is your space, submit a proposal and help set the direction for global thinking and practical action on how TVET/PTET builds skills for sustainability, innovation, and global employability.
