We are thrilled to announce two major events organized by EfVET that you won’t want to miss. These events are designed to bring together educators, industry leaders, and stakeholders to discuss and shape the future of vocational education and training (VET).

1. Global VET: 180 Different Cultures in a Nutshell

Date:  March 11-13, 2025
Location:  Zadkine College, Rotterdam, Netherlands

The EfVET Thematic Team Global VET is hosting its annual event at Zadkine College, focusing on the theme “180 Different Cultures in a Nutshell.” This event will delve into the importance of developing personal resilience, entrepreneurial and digital skills, and creative thinking among students. Key discussions will include:

  • Overcoming the dichotomies between theory and applied training, HVET and academic systems, and formal vs. informal training.
  • Strengthening stakeholder engagement through business-education relationships for internships, apprenticeships, and regular training needs assessments.
  • Exploring roadmaps for vocational education leaders to align education and training with the world of work.

This event aims to establish a new paradigm shift in vocational education, driving excellence through targeted action and systemic implementation.

2. EfVET Tourism TT Annual Event 2025: Local Wonders: Discovering Rural Tourism Practices

Date:  April 2-4, 2025
Location:  SEPR campus, Annonay, France

Join us at the SEPR campus in Annonay, France, for the EfVET Tourism Thematic Team Annual Event. This event will focus on discovering best practices in rural tourism and contributing to the future of tourism provision. Highlights include:

  • Learning from keynote speakers about EU strategies on tourism and gaining insights from worldwide and local experts.
  • Sharing and learning good practices while building partnerships with other VET providers and stakeholders in tourism.
  • Participating in panel discussions, practical workshops, project-design sessions, roundtables, and school visits.
  • Discovering new approaches to tourism.
