2020 Awards of Excellence Now Open

WFCP Awards of Excellence Nominations Now Open

Have the achievement of your college or polytechnic recognized on the world stage. If you have leading practices, then nominate those for the Awards of Excellence of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) to be announced and celebrated at the World Congress in San Sebastián in October 2020. Winners and finalists are promoted through the network of member colleges and polytechnics.

The 4th WFCP Awards of Excellence are now accepting nominations in all categories. The Awards recognize excellence in WFCP membership in eight categories, connected to the Federation’s seven affinity groups. The Awards ceremony will take place in Donostia-San Sebastián, the Basque Country (Spain) on the occasion of the 10th Bi-Annual World Congress, from October 14 –16, 2020.

Recipients of the Awards of Excellence will be featured in the WFCP’s 3rd World Best Practice Guide in Professional and Technical Education. Previous Guides featured recipients of the 2016 and 2018 Awards and detailed their winning projects as well as offering lessons learned to other institutions embarking on similar journeys. You can find the first and second volumes of the World Best Practice Guide in Professional and Technical Education here or purchase a hard copy of the Guide by contacting the Secretariat.

Nominations will be open until February 28, 2020 (11:59 p.m. Canada/US Eastern Standard Time) and are open to WFCP members and their member institutions. Recipients will be informed in April 2020 and invited to present on their award-winning project or institution at the 2020 World Congress.
