The World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for researchers and institutions to contribute to a global initiative aimed at enhancing international student mobility in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Professional and Technical Education and Training (PTET) sectors.
About the Project
WFCP is commissioning a short-term research project to support the development of a Global Statement on the benefits of international mobility in TVET/PTET. This initiative will inform policy, practice, and partnerships across the globe. The Invitation to Tender or Partner (ITTP) Global Statement is linked here.
Project Objectives
The selected researcher(s) will:
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review incorporating global data, policy insights, and experiences, including those from WFCP’s Youth Camps.
- Identify and document case studies and best practices from diverse regions.
- Develop actionable recommendations for educational institutions, governments, and industry stakeholders.
- Contribute to a concise Global Statement to be launched in December 2025.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome proposals from individuals or institutions with demonstrated expertise in:
- International education and mobility
- Workforce development
- TVET/PTET research and policy
This is a desk-based project (no travel required), running from August to November 2025.
