Call for Nominations: 2015 UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize

Since 2005, the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in Education has rewarded innovations in teaching and learning that leverage technology to improve educational outcomes. Funded by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Prize seeks to recognize governments, non-governmental organizations and individuals that are embracing ICT as a pedagogical ally to make learning more effective.

Please find attached the Director General¹s call to nominate candidates for the 2015 edition of the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in Education, inviting Member States, Associated Member States and NGOs to submit nominations for this year. The circular letter, the submission form, the application guidelines, the Statutes and the financial regulations (English and French), can be found here:

The theme for the 2015 edition of the Prize is Pedagogical Innovation in the Use of ICT in Teaching and Learning. Applications should be sent before the deadline for submission of the files set for 10 November 2015.
