Ottawa, March 20, 2024 – TKNIKA, the Basque Vocational Education and Training (VET) Applied Research Centre, and other partners are hosting the first Conference of the Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing Platform (LCAMP) for Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in May 2024.
The LCAMP conference 2024 will take place on 14-15 May 2024 at the OSTERTAG event Centre in Aalen, Germany.
The conference aims to discuss the practical implementation of Learning Factories in Vocational Education and Training (VET) and High-VET education, discuss the introduction of industry 4.0 technologies in education, showcase real-world examples from around the globe, provide opportunities to join the LCAMP alliance for fostering international collaboration, facilitate engaging visits to cutting-edge manufacturing companies, and offer networking opportunities for schools interested in technology and advanced manufacturing education.
It brings together Vocational Education and Training communities, from VET and HVET teachers to managers, specialised in the field of Advanced Manufacturing from Europe and beyond. On top of that, it will be a networking point to connect with representatives from the SMEs, academia, researchers, industrial cluster and local, regional and European authorities.
Participants will benefit from keynote sessions addressing key trends and challenges in advanced manufacturing education, panel discussions involving experts from academia and industry, and breakout sessions. The conference will be followed by visits to cutting-edge manufacturing companies in the Baden Württemberg region.
