WFCP Launches its 2023 World Congress in Montréal, Canada this weekend

Ottawa, April 23, 2023 – The World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) launched its 2023 World Congress today in Montréal, Canada, with a keynote by French-Canadian Aerospace Engineer Dr. Farah Alibay and an opening ceremony attended by more than 1,000 delegates from Canada and abroad. The 2023 World Congress is being hosted by WFCP in partnership with Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), April 23-25, in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, with the theme Collective Intelligence.  Knowing how to use and leverage all forms of intelligence is essential to the development of both individuals and societies, including social, cultural, political, environmental, emotional and artificial intelligence. Collective Intelligence is required to ensure a holistic and creative approach to meet the needs of a diverse student population from various pathways and the needs of the labour market in constant evolution.   “The WFCP World Congress brings together TVET educators from across the globe to use our collective intelligence to benefit our students, businesses, governments and the communities we serve.
