Join WFCP Teacher Professional Development Affinity Group Webinar on Challenges and Countermeasures in Teacher Development in the Post-pandemic Era on December 15

WFCP Teacher Professional Development Affinity Group will be led by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and co-led by Shenzhen Polytechnic (SZPT).

With the aim of establishing a global platform to improve teacher professional development, the first webinar of WFCP Teacher Professional Development Affinity Group will be held online, focusing on the challenges and countermeasures in teacher professional development in the post-pandemic era. The webinar will be hosted on December 15 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. (Beijing time)Registration (free) is mandatory: Meeting Registration – Zoom

International experts will be invited to discuss topics related to teacher professional development in the post-pandemic era:
(1) Challenges and Opportunities in Teacher Development in the Post-pandemic Era;
(2) Digital Technology and Teacher Development in the Post-pandemic Era;
(3) Multilateral and Regional Cooperation of Teacher Development in the Post-pandemic Era;
(4) Construction of Teacher Development Management Mode in the Post-pandemic Era-An example of Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, Germany;
(5) Reform and Innovation of Teacher Skill Development in the Post-pandemic Era.

• Format: The webinar will include the launching ceremony of WFCP Teacher Professional Development Affinity Group, two 15-minute presentations, four 7-minute presentations and Q&A.

Intended participants: This webinar is likely to be of interest to top management representatives for personnel development, directors/managers of personnel management/development, and directors/deans of teacher professional development.
