Join the panelists of ‘Embracing Indigenous knowledge in teaching TVET ’ webinar on September 9, 2020,      at 9 a.m. (EDT).

The National Council for the Federal Network of Vocational, Scientific and Technological Education Institutions (Conif), Brazil, will host the webinar and share some of their member institutes’ experiences of working with Indigenous students and learning from the Indigenous communities. Guest speakers from Canada and the USA will contribute to this webinar and raise the awareness of diversity and misunderstandings about the Indigenous people across the Americas.

This webinar aims to share rich experiences of building better relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous educators and students; and mobilize professional and technical education in embracing Indigenous knowledge to provide students with intercultural competencies and prepare them for global citizenship.
