Do not miss a chance to submit a proposal for the 2020 CICan’s Annual Conference! CICan’s Annual Conference aims to foster connections between post-secondary institutions from all across the country and around the world. In 2020, these connections will focus on strengthening our collective intelligence.
Knowing how to use and leverage all forms of intelligence is essential to the development of both individuals and societies. By using a holistic and creative approach to meet the needs of a diverse student population, colleges and institutes help foster individual and collective intelligence. This theme resonates with the host city, Montreal, renowned as a hub of cultural, environmental, and artificial intelligence.
The Conference will be organized into six streams, including the following: Governing Excellence, Wiring for Student Success, Hacking Education, Embodying Sustainability, Driving Innovation, and Going Global. Indigenous education and inclusion are cross-cutting topics.
All sessions should reflect on opportunities or lessons learned for the future of the college and institute system. Submit your proposal by December 1st, 2019. Find Selection Criteria and Recommendations for Preparing a Successful Proposal here.
