The Brazilian Olympiad of Agriculture and Livestock enhances the culture of science, technology, innovation and sustainable development among students of professional and technical education and training.
The competition is open to Brazilian and foreign TVET students who speak Portuguese or Spanish.
Teams should be registered by their own institutions. Teams must be composed of one teacher and three students from each institution. Foreign students will not be required to participate in the virtual phase of the competition. There is no limit for the number of subscriptions by any institution.
Applications are free of charge and can be submitted through the Olympiad website from May 15 and June 30, 2019.
The competition will be held from September 26 to September 28, 2019, in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil
The competition will consist of two rounds:
1st round: Practical tasks to be addressed by the whole team (score: 45 points)
2nd round: A test of 20 theoretical objective questions (1.5 points/ question) and 2 discursive questions (12.5 points/question)
