inTuition, the professional journal of the United Kingdom’s Society for Education and Training, is looking to highlight teachers and trainers from around the world. The quarterly publication features a column, Teaching World (see page 8), which compares and contrasts the professional lives of teachers and trainers working the UK and their international counterparts – whether teaching the same subject or professional skills.
inTuition’s readership is primarily those who work in the further education and training sector in the UK, broadly speaking those in professional and technical education and training. It combines news about the sector with educational research, as well as practical developments and ideas in education and training.
The Society for Education and Training (SET) is the membership body dedicated to professionals working across the UK’s further education, vocational teaching and training sector. It is part of the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) and administers ETF’s Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status and Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).
If you are interested in being featured or have a particular profession you would like to see highlighted in Teaching World, please contact Alan Thomson, editor of inTuition.
