The World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) is pleased to announce the 2018 WFCP Leadership Institute, to be held in Melbourne, Australia from October 7-8, 2018. This year’s Leadership Institute will engage participants in a policy discussion about preparing for the impact of Industry 4.0 and the future of work.
The WFCP Leadership Institute brings leaders together to set the priorities for a future workforce across the globe that is ready for the sweep of technology and automation. College and polytechnic leaders, policy makers, leading thinkers and WFCP association members are invited to the Institute to set out WFCP priorities and actions for the next two years. The Institute will also consider the priorities for change in delivery and support for college and polytechnic students. Participants will create a consensus and call to action to engage with their local governments, stakeholders, and citizens
The Leadership Institute is designed for leaders from around the world in professional and technical education and training. Participants are expected to have a leadership role and have a commitment to policy and advocacy for professional and technical education and training. The cost is $750 AUD, each (plus GST).
The Leadership Institute will precede the 9th World Congress from October 8-10, 2018. The WFCP’s Executive Leadership workshops have been part of the Federation’s World Congress program since 2014.
