The World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) is pleased to announce an extension on the deadline for the 3rd WFCP Awards of Excellence. Nomination packages for the awards will be accepted until February 26, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
The Awards recognize excellence in WFCP membership in seven categories, connected to the Federation’s affinity groups. The Awards ceremony will take place in Melbourne, Australia on the occasion of the 9th Bi-Annual World Congress, from October 7-10, 2018.
Recipients of the Awards of Excellence will be featured in the WFCP’s 2nd World Best Practice Guide in Professional and Technical Education. The first edition of the Guide featured recipients of the 2016 awards and detailed their winning projects as well as offering lessons learned to other institutions embarking on similar journeys. You can see the 1st World Best Practice Guide in Professional and Technical Education here or purchase a hard copy of the Guide by contacting the Secretariat.
Nominations are open to WFCP members and their member institutions. Recipients will be informed in early spring and be invited to present on their award-winning project or institution at the 2018 World Congress.
To be considered for a WFCP Award of Excellence, you must submit a nomination package, answering the questions on the nomination form, a letter of reference, and supporting documents such as testimonials. The package should not exceed six pages.
Nominations received no later than February 26, 2018 will be considered for the 2018 WFCP Awards of Excellence. Nominations packages and questions related to the nomination process can be sent to the Secretariat.
