Organization Award Submission

Criteria
Organization Awards of Excellence celebrate the achievements and recognize the contributions of institutions in the field of Professional Technical Education and Training in ten different categories. These categories are based on WFCP Affinity Groups but are not exclusive to members of these groups.
Projects submitted must have commenced within the last three years (not before 2020) and must demonstrate impact within the last 12 months. Nominations submitted during previous Awards can be resubmitted if the project demonstrates significant progress and/or impact since and if it did not previously receive an Award.
Institutions are required to submit a synopsis about the organization, which will not form part of the marking criteria.
Each nomination will be awarded a grade out of 100 and will be judged according to the following six criteria:
Criteria 1 – Comprehensive description of the project, including scope, aims and objectives, target audience, barriers to success and success criteria.
Criteria 2 – Demonstrated benefit to professional and technical education and training at the international level.
Criteria 3 – Demonstrated achievements of the nominee and the work for which they are being nominated.
Criteria 4 – Demonstrated benefit to students.
Criteria 5 – Demonstrated evidence of innovation, initiative, or obstacles which the nominee may have had to overcome to achieve their outcome.
Criteria 6 – Material provided in support of the nomination & value added to the Federation.
Organization Award Categories
Applied Research and Innovation Award: Recognizes an institution or institutional association that has demonstrated excellence in addressing real-world challenges through applied research.
Brand TVET Award: Recognizes an institution or a national/regional association that has demonstrated excellence in a) marketing or campaigning activity to b) elevate the profile, recognition and awareness of TVET (PTET).
Construction Award: Recognizes an institution/organization that has demonstrated excellence in the development and delivery of modern construction practices that ensure effective and efficient future focused construction project delivery which considers the future sustainability ambitions and needs of this sector.
Cyber and Data Security and Social Engineering Award: Recognizes an institution/organization that has demonstrated excellence in the innovative application and use of technology, training/development and developed personal practice to protect systems, data and individuals from the increasing global threat posed by professional and criminal cyber security attacks.
Global Citizenship Award: Recognizes an institution or institutional association that has demonstrated its commitment to providing the best experiences and exemplary strategies and tools to prepare students for global citizenship.
Indigenous Education Award: Recognizes an institution or institutional association that has demonstrated its commitment to Indigenous learners and communities and to advocacy priorities and positions related to Indigenous education and skills development.
Strategic Leadership Award: Recognizes an institution or institutional association that has demonstrated excellence in leading professional and technical education and training.
Sustainable Development Goals Award recognizes an institution or institutional association that has demonstrated excellence in advancing environmental sustainability through knowledge, tools, practices, and technologies.
Teacher Professional Development Award: Recognizes an institution or institutional association that has demonstrated excellence in teacher professional development.
Tourism and Hospitality Award: Recognizes an institution or institutional association that has demonstrated its commitment to providing excellence in advancing higher level technical skills and knowledge within the tourism and hospitality sector.
Required Documentation
Prior to filling out the nomination form below, please ensure you have the following information and documents ready:
- Nominee details, including contact name, mailing address and phone number.
- Synopsis of institution, of no more than 500 words.
- Picture of project or institution.
- Answers to our (5) questions.
- (1) Testimonial with signature from an external organization, of no more than 500 words.
