ACTVET (Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training) is a government center responsible for regulating the development and delivery of public and private technical and vocational education and training in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. ACTVET is directly responsible for an integrated network of public technical high schools which comprise Secondary Technical Schools (STS) and Advanced Technical High Schools (ATHS), the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education Institute (ADVETI), which delivers a range of technical and vocational diploma programs, the Abu Dhabi Polytechnic (ADPoly), which delivers diploma and degree programs in Career Technical Education, and the Fatima College of Health Sciences (FCHS) which offer a range of health and allied health programs.

In addition to the public STS/ATHS/ADVETI/AdPoly system operating in Abu Dhabi, the network also offers programs at branch campuses across other Emirates in the UAE and abroad. As the regulator of Technical and Vocational Education, ACTVET also licenses approximately 250 private training providers in Abu Dhabi. As the government department responsible for quality assurance in the TVET sector, ACTVET ensures that all qualifications delivered comply with the National Qualifications Authority.
